Not at all. Most students start from zero. Your first lesson will be on a quiet street, to get you comfortable with the controls, and we’ll build from there.
-
As soon as you've got your learner's permit. In SA you can sit the theory test and get your Ls from 16.
-
I'll pick you up, we'll have a chat about where you're at, and then you drive. Somewhere quiet if you're new, straight into traffic if you're not. By the end I'll have an honest sense of how many lessons you're likely to need.
-
Of course. Plenty do for the first lesson - it's entirely your call.
-
It depends where you're starting. Most beginners land somewhere between 8 and 15 hours, but I'll give you a straight estimate after the first lesson rather than a number off a website.

60 is the standard and suits most people. 90 or 120 are worth it if you're travelling further out, working on something specific, or want to cover more ground in one go.

Our lessons are automatic only.

A 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale - automatic, dual-controlled, fully insured, 5-star ANCAP safety rating. Every lesson and every VORT runs in it.
-
Home, school or work, anywhere in the service area - and I'll drop you back afterwards. It's included, not an extra.
-
Yes - 60 minutes, $100. Supportive sessions for returning or senior drivers, licence reviews, medical reviews, or just a confidence check after time off the road. Same car, same pace-to-suit-you approach.
-
Yes - and they count triple. In SA, an hour with an accredited instructor logs as three hours in your Driver Companion, capped at five instructor hours. So five hours of lessons = 15 logged hours, which is why the 5-pack is the one most people take. The remaining 60 you'll do with a parent or supervising driver.
-
75 hours of supervised driving, including at least 15 at night, all recorded in your Driver Companion logbook.
-
The Vehicle On Road Test - SA's practical driving assessment, and the last hurdle before your Ps. An examiner sits in and assesses you in traffic.
-
Yes - that's the Warm-up + VORT package. A 60-minute warm-up drive first, then you sit the test in the same car you learned in, with the same seat position and the same mirrors. It's one less unknown on a day that's full of them.

Just give 48 hours' notice and it's no problem. Inside 48 hours, or a no-show, may attract a fee.
